When envisioning the type of financial advisor she wanted to be, Colleen Weber knew that sales and conflicts of interest had no place in her advisory firm. So when she came upon the fee-only financial planning practice model, she set out to establish her fee-only fiduciary advisor firm. And now for over 20 years, our firm has helped clients in the greater Minneapolis–Saint Paul area, throughout Minnesota, and the United States. Through knowledge and experience, we’ve helped our clients:
Save money in taxes
Simplify their financial lives
Enjoy peace of mind knowing someone is watching out for them
When you choose between investment management, financial planning, and a CPA, you’ll likely find conflicting advice, because these professionals (although well-intentioned) have completely different goals when reviewing your finances.
At Colleen Weber CPA, LLC, we hold those three aspects in mind simultaneously as we guide and support you. Rather than trying to implement clashing advice, we help you seamlessly integrate tax mitigation strategies with financial planning and investment management.
As part of our process, we take the time to listen to your concerns, discuss your perspectives and goals, and answer questions before evaluating the situation. After we have a full understanding of your financial picture, we develop a personalized multi-step plan.
Unlike big-name financial advisor firms, we charge a flat annual fee rather than a percentage of your assets. This allows us to uphold our fiduciary commitment with respect to financial planning. The fee is set based on the complexity of your situation, the overall value of your portfolio, and the level of advice required for your situation.

Stanley, Service Dog in Training
Stanley is the newest (and furriest) member of our team! He’s a service dog in training with Helping Paws, Inc., and Colleen is honored to serve as his volunteer trainer. Since joining Colleen’s family at just 8 weeks old, Stanley has been learning the skills and behaviors needed to one day assist a person with a disability or a veteran living with disabilities.
Now 1 ½ years old, Stanley is spending more time in the office to gain exposure to new environments and experiences—an important step in his journey toward becoming a confident, reliable partner for someone in need. While we’ll be sad to see him go when he turns 2 ½, we’re proud to be a small part of his big purpose.
If you stop by our office, don’t be surprised if Stanley greets you with a wag of the tail—he’s here to learn, grow, and share a little extra joy along the way.
